In the late 1970's Pomona was embracing Street Dance, such as,
Locking, The Robot, The Android, and The C-Walk, as you know
Locking, The Robot, and The Android had been around for years,
but the new generation was intrigued by it's style, and
individuality that these dances possess. The straight Pop, was
one of the dances at the time that gave an individual a chance
to express them-self, and that would eventually lead to new
style such as, The Tic, The Three-D, The Tut, Twisto-Flex, The
Back Slide, what you may have seen the Great Late Michal Jackson
doing. The Moon Walk was a hole different move. The moon Walk Came
From a move called, The Camel Walk as these style were combined,
came the style you know as G-Style. G-Style is a combination of
all these styles of Pomona, North side, West side, and South
side so there are three styles of G-Style and This site
represent the south side style.
Mr. stretch and Mr. stokes have been side by side for years, and have motivated one another to be the best they could be! with the help of some well known friends, the board man, no-bone and slick-dogg.
